ACCA

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

You can apply to become a student at any time of the year, the quickest and simplest method is to apply online following the links on the ACCA website.

The Foundation Level is assessed by means of Computer Based Examinations (CBEs) and these can be taken at any time, however you must have previously registered as an ACCA student and will need your ACCA student registration number.  The list of available CBE test centres can be found on the ACCA website.

To register as a student of ACCA, you need to pay an annual subscription fee and a one off initial registration fee (current fees can be found on the ACCA website).  You will also need to bear in mind the cost of the exam entry (fees vary depending on the level of the qualification and if you enter by the early exam entry closing deadline or the standard exam entry closing deadline) and the cost of any exemptions you are entitled to.  Up to date pricing and guidance can be found on the ACCA website.

Once you register as an ACCA student, you have 10 years from the date you registered to complete the ACCA exams.

All the different levels of ACCA can be studied with Wise Owl Training Ltd - please see the links on the left hand side for further details including entry requirements.

Exemptions - If you have previously achieved accountancy qualifications including AAT, you will be exempt from the knowledge papers of the Fundamentals papers (F1, F2 and F3).  Please check the ACCA website for the current cost of claiming these exemptions.

Exam fee - It is your responsibility to enter for exams with ACCA.  Exams are held at centres around the UK, however you will need to enter for the exams and book your sitting at the most convenient centre for you.
